It is possible those spam messages used a similar method to bypass SpamAssassin, which could be a sign that you need to tighten the spam filter. If another influx of spam arrives, I recommend lowering your "required hits" by visiting https://members.sonic.net/email/spam/spamassassin/. Please note that lowering your required hits can falsely flag legitimate messages. It is important to check your graymail after making changes so you can welcome list any needed addresses.
